About Ørehænger
Ørehænger is a collaboration between Malene Rigtrup and Morten Kjær.
Since 2003, we have strived to create exciting, beautiful, groovy, and meaningful modern vocal music. We compose songs, create vocal arrangements, publish sheet music, and write handbooks for singers and choir leaders all over the world.

Malene Rigtrup
teaches choir conducting and vocal arranging at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. She is one of the primary lecturers at the RAMA Vocal Center in Aalborg, and at The Music School of Aarhus, she teaches solo singing and conducts the elite girls’ choir Maestra.
For more than two decades, Malene has written arrangements and led workshops for choirs and vocal groups all over Europe.
In 2012, she released the EP “Not Later Love” with her own songs.
Morten
Kjær
is a freelance singer, songwriter, music producer, and journalist.
He is a former member of the internationally acclaimed a cappella groups Basix and M-Pact and a well-known arranger and educator on the European vocal scene.
Morten has recorded multiple albums and EPs as a solo artist as well as with his bands Ebb & Flow and Gårsdagens Lys.
He does live tours and is often involved in music productions on TV, radio, and stage.
